Community Gathering in Commemoration of Nakba Day

NYC NAKBA 77: THE WORLD REJECTS ZIONISM, THE PEOPLE STAND WITH GAZA

Owl’s Head Park, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn
Sunday, May 11th
12PM - 4PM

This month marks 77 years since the start of the ongoing Nakba. As the situation on the ground in Palestine becomes more dire, we call on ourselves and our community to recommit to the liberation of Palestine this Nakba Day and every day after that.

Join the Palestinian Youth Movement community gathering on May 11th for a day of remembrance and re-commitment as they read the words of our martyrs and leaders, make banners and t-shirts to prepare for the Nakba Day mobilization on May 17th. They gladly welcome children and parents to participate in this event; family-friendly activities will be provided for all ages.
